Privacy policy
What we do not collect
This list is longer than the one below it, which is the point. Most of what a site could ask of you is only useful to a business model this site does not have.
- Date of birth or age verification data. The adult audience policy is applied to what we publish, not by interrogating readers. Storing birth dates would create a breach risk for you and give us nothing we could act on. Why there is no age gate.
- Accounts. There are none, so there are no passwords, no profiles, no saved history, and nothing to leak.
- Health information. The calculators run entirely in your browser. What you type into them is not transmitted to us and is not stored anywhere.
- Payment details. Nothing is sold here.
- Location beyond what an address implies. No GPS, no device location request, no location permission prompt.
- Cross site tracking. No advertising pixels, no social embeds, no session recording, no heat mapping, no fingerprinting.
- Anything sold or brokered. No data about you is sold, rented, or shared with a data broker, in any form, ever.
What is collected
Server logs
The web server records requests in the ordinary way, because a server that recorded nothing could not be operated: the page requested, the time, a truncated network address, the browser identification string, and the referring page. These are used to keep the site working, to find broken links and errors, and to identify abusive traffic. They are not joined to anything else and they are not used to build a profile.
Search queries
What you type into the site search is used to run that search and appears in the server log for that request, the same as any other address. It is not attached to a profile and it is not retained separately.
Analytics
The live site uses Cloudflare to measure traffic and page performance. Its measurement script sends information about page visits and loading performance to Cloudflare. Cloudflare states that its Web Analytics service does not use cookies or local storage to track visitors. See Cloudflare's description of Web Analytics.
We do not use these measurements to build an advertising audience. Google Analytics is not currently enabled.
Cookies and local storage
The site does not require cookies to read, and nothing here is gated behind accepting one. Any preference the site remembers is stored in your own browser and stays there. Cloudflare may use security cookies when it checks suspicious traffic; those checks are separate from Web Analytics.

Advertising
Alcohol advertising is restricted differently in every jurisdiction, and audience targeted advertising is fundamentally incompatible with the adult audience policy: targeting an audience by inferred interest is exactly the mechanism that puts alcohol marketing in front of people it should not reach.
Advertising is therefore disabled by default in this site's configuration. If it is ever enabled, it will not be audience targeted, and this page will say so before it runs rather than after.
Third parties
Fonts are served from this site's own domain. Your browser does not contact a separate font service. Cloudflare delivers and protects the site, and Hostinger hosts it. These providers process network requests, including the network address needed to deliver a response.
External links take you to a site with its own policy, which we do not control.
We embed no social trackers, comment widgets, session recording, heat mapping, chat widgets, or third party video, and if you block third party requests entirely, the site still works and reads correctly.
Your control
Your browser controls cookies, local storage, and whether it sends a do not track signal. Blocking cookies does not stop you reading anything here, and there is no cookie wall.
Because there is no account and no profile, there is nothing to log into and delete. If you want to ask what this site holds about you, use the contact page and include enough detail to identify the request you are asking about.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, data protection law may give you rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict processing of personal information about you, and to complain to a regulator. Those rights apply here as they do anywhere, with the practical caveat that the only thing that would identify you at all is a server log entry, and a truncated address in a log is usually not enough to find one person's requests among everyone else's.

Children
This site is intended for adults over the legal drinking age and is not directed at children. We do not ask children to submit information, and we do not build audiences by age. If you believe a child has sent us information through a message, tell us and it will be deleted.
Changes
If this policy changes materially, the change is described here rather than made silently, and the update date on the page changes with it.
